Our Story
D. Rakshit & Associates was founded by Debabrata Rakshit — a Senior Administrator, Counsellor, and Compliance Professional whose career spans five decades across two demanding industries. Beginning with 35 years at Syndicate Bank (now Canara Bank) from 1976 to 2010, he built deep expertise in banking operations, risk controls, documentation standards, and dispute management at the national level.
From 2011 to 2025, he led Hospital Administration and Legal & Compliance functions at Narayana Multispeciality and Narayana Superspeciality Hospitals in Kolkata — working at the intersection of clinical reality and regulatory expectation. This rare dual background gave rise to an independent advisory practice that bridges the gap most institutions struggle to close: between what happened clinically, what the records say, and what regulators and courts need to see.

Managed medico-legal risk, consumer litigation, grievance resolution, and statutory compliance. Established the West Bank School of Nursing (GNM) in 2012 and West Bank College of Nursing in 2020.
